Weather finally getting better in Chicago, and took the weekend to install all the parts Ive been collecting over the winter.. I want to thank Rick Lutz for his professional installation and infinite patience in installing my new RJC XTF 315 FMIC and new radiator from ALRADCO. (dual fans to come!) After more than a few hurdles, Rick got things sorted out.. Bolt on doesnt really mean bolt on!.. Looks awesome and runs like crazy!.. I cant thank Rick enough!

nice what problems did you guys run into? about to mount mine not looking to bash u can pm me thx

Psycho...make sure after you mount your intercooler that you trial fit the IC pipes...on my car, they can actually be fitted in reverse and actually work.. Also to preserve the finish. The pipes can easily scratch. I also have a sway bar that the passenger pipe had a hard time clesring., making the dualbfan set up impossible. Had to order a slimmer fan from ALRADCO. Peter is a huge help!.. Rick fit and refit everything like 5x and still the dual fan didn't go in so he reinstalled the stock fan.. Which works fine... I just wanted the upgrade. Take your time as Rick did, and it will come together... These custom parts can be a pain!

I'm not saying that you'll have the hurdles we did,, just giving you what we experienced. Im waiting on a slimmer passenger side fan, which should solve the clearance problem, thus completing my upgrade. My car looks great but without some great help, I wouldn't have gotten these results.

Thx. Im.well aware of what bolt on means. Just more down.time.is all.lol thx again

Clint I do have some pics.. These are before the dual fan setup.. I have yet to get the front of the car.. The view from the front is menacing!

Thanks for those pics..... I would really love some pics of the pipe fitment with the dual alradco fans......I have the same/similar setup and have yet to install it. I would like to see and plan ahead before I install it.

Clint... Peter at ALRADCO sent the shallower fan for the passenger side yesterday... Should have it mounted up soon. I'll post pics when I get it all buttoned up.

Peter didn't say.. The housing is shallower in that it doesn't protrude into the engine bay as far.. Giving more clearance for the passenger pipe. It might have the same ccm.

Here are some pictures of the hybrid set up which means 1 slim fan and 1 extreme fan. I have the same set up but these pictures are of another members car but I had to research as well because as you have mentioned 2 extreme fans will not work with 3 " diameter pipes.

Yep.. That's what I'm gonna have to do.. There's just not enough clearance on the passengers side. How does the smaller fan work for you?? Any issues??

Well from what I've read and Peter has told me is that the fans are set up to kick on 1 at a time depending on your temperature so I used the big fan as my main 1 that kicks on 1st. Actually come to think of it I have yet to see the slim fan come on. Lol. The highest temperature I've sen my car get to is 190 degrees. So as of now for me I feel good with the 1 fan on but if it gets hotter in the summer then I will consider wiring them both up to work at the same time.
