Hello everyone! My name is Steve I’m from Maryland. I recently purchased a 1987 Grand National. First time Buick owner.

I recently pulled out the motor/transmission and dropped it off to Anderson Performance to rebuild it. The body is at a good friend of mine shop he’s taking care of the paint. From there it’s going to Rankin for the interior and last Elite auto for wheels brakes suspension.

My goal is to keep the appearance of the interior and exterior stock as possible but make it a fun street car with some power.

Appreciate anyone that can help me while Im on this journey.

Steve.

Welcome aboard. Post pictures if you can of the progress. Lots of smart people here and some real pros,
not that I'm one of them.

Welcome to the forum, it’s a great place to find a lot of info.
It sounds like it will be one mean street car.
Yes, by all means share the progress.

It’s too bad you didn’t get an ‘86, they’re way faster! Lol

Sounds like your not messing around.. brakes & suspension/frame stiffening is often overlooked as the the best place to start after a scan tool & fuel system upgrades.. on a side note I rode a dirt bike thru Maryland 3 years ago saw some of the most stunning beauty this country has to offer
