new fuel pump issue

My fuel pump died. I just replaced the pump as the entire sending unit from Racetronic was on back order and I have a car show next week I want to attend. The sending unit is a Racetronic unit that is 7 years old.

Everything is back together. 5 gallons of gas in the tank. I hear the pump priming but not getting any fuel pressure at the rail. When I turn the key I hear the pump run/prime. If I crank the motor the pump will run.

I have already replaced the fuel pump relay and the hotwire relay while I was doing this.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Did you check the polarity of the wires going to the pump? I know on some of the racetronics harnesses they are wired differently

I think you are right... they did change the polarity. I got the tank back out and corrected ... I have to wait until after dinner or tomorrow to put the tank back in.

I appreciate the advice and I will let you know once it is up and running.
