Accessory bracket repaired

I have wrapped my headers and DP in the past.
What I liked was to be able to cruise all night, pop the hood and have it feel like it had idled for 15 min. It really kept the under hood temp down.

What I didn’t like is my ATR headers cracked due to the increased heat retention and needed repair.

This time around I ceramic coated the headers and DP. I decided to wrap the DP anyway to help with the under hood temps as well as protect the rear bushing on the upper A-arm.

Just my reasoning for what it’s worth.

Polish it. Keep it clean. If you don't allow surface contaminants to sit on the surface (finger prints, oil, fluids) when it gets hot, they won't burn into the finish. It will turn a goldish color from the heat, but it will remain shinny.

Every 2 years or so, take it off and hit with the polishing wheel again.

It's worth it.

I've run coated in and out on both my turbo cars for years, it looks great and really helps keep not just temps down, but the effect on your hoods paint, IAT temps and other sensors and hoses that won't eat as much heat.
