hello people; What do you think? Rear disk brakes, stock front brakes. Do you think it would stop better than the Blazer front conversion? Any experiences with that setup?

Here’s a picture of my blazer front brake setup . It was a very noticeable upgrade . Also I installed the speedway uppercontrol arms while I was there for $45 each you really can’t go wrong . Taking the heavy stock arms off to help with cutting Alil weight .

I am doing the same in the front except using 14 inch rotors and corvette c6 calipers.
Anyone one know if the rear is the same? Meaning using blazer parts to convert rear to z06 c6 calipers? Backplates? Etc?

I haven't personally done it. But there's YouTube videos showing rear corvette brakes on a gbody.

Question for you...Did the C6 calipers & rotors fit onto the blazer spindles/hubs or did you have to buy special spindles/hubs? Thanks.

Calipers I bought on ebay, no one one ever has them instock, and if they do expensive. Rotors I bought on amazon. Or you can just buy everything from Kore 3

Just a tip for anyone doing this conversion. It was brought up that the hub bolts are really hard to find. Hub bolts from an explorer (2005ish I believe) are the same size and thread pitch. Work perfectly. I hate admitting I have Ford parts on my car but hey.....
