I found a set of 02 Blazer S-10 spindles on craigslist. I went through the whole collecting of parts and hardware.I finally got around to get it done. I can't believe I waited. It has to be a forty to fifty percent better stopping power. I know that sounds like a lot but for me its true. Here are some pictures and if you need part numbers I can help. It was frustrating when I needed some advise on part numbers and nobody was able to help me. So here are some pictures

Everything fits under our stock rims. .... And the rotors are bigger than stock. The calipers are duel piston design and much bigger.

That looks great and sounds like it made a huge difference. I'd love a list of the part numbers, I'm planning on the upgrade real soon.
Thanks.

Most part numbers are on my pictures. The wheel hubs I got off of eBay. They are for a 98-02 s10 2wd blazer. The brake lines I found I didn't like so much. Didn't fit the way I liked. I just put the ones that where on my car back in place . They are only a year old. Fit perfectly. Pads,Calipers, rotors are from Auto zone. I could have bought everything from salvage yard but the way our cars are going up in value I didn't want to take the chance.

I forgot to mention the the bolts that hold on the wheel hubs are a bitch to find. Thats the biggest pain in the butt about this conversion. I just went though a bunch of chevy parts depts to score them. .

Yes it does make a nice difference with the Blazer brake upgrade, I did this conversion a few years back. I believe you need the 98-05 Blazer 2wd spindles to do this conversion if I remember correctly. As was said, you can get the hubs on ebay if needed fairly cheap. And this conversion fits under the stock 15" rim.

Reading this thread has inspired me to do the conversion on mine. Just because people drive crazy and I would feel better having more stopping power. I have nightmares of my car being wrecked/stolen lol.

Yes your right I believe the spindles needed for this conversion is 98-05 S10 2wd Blazer. Mine were off an 02 Blazer.

I don't have a lot of salvage yards near me so I did some looking around on the internet for these items...

If anyone is interested contact timo22 on GbodyForum.com he is selling kits that include both spindles, dust shields, caliper brackets, and hardware (even hub bolts) for $125.

I have a set from him on order right now. I'll let you know how much improved the upgrade is for me! Thanks.

Wow that sounds too good to be true. I shelled out $125 just for the spindles alone. I think everybody should jump on that.

I get the sense that he is doing it just to help out other enthusiasts. Not trying to turn a huge profit. Im going to get mine powdercoated once they arrive, and then pair with powerstop pad/rotor combo.

Let me know how that turns out for you. It sounds like an amazing deal. Others here can benefit from that info..
