Need a Posi

Well I am going to need to up-grade my rear end from a peg leg. Car is a 99% street car with a few 1/8 mile passes, when I say a street car I mean it sees a couple hundred miles a year. thinking of 3.73 gears and an Eaton Posi. Do you think I should replace the axles, how about c-clip eliminators?

Car should be capable of 7.2- 7.5 in the eigth.

Just upgrade the axles and be done with it. Since you are changing the diff you could even go with a 30 spline if you choose. The stock axles are pretty stout and some have gone deep into the 10's on them. No need for spools, mini spools, c-clip eliminators and all that stuff. Swap the diff ugrade the axles and your done.
