My new dog

Hey guys here's my new dog. He's a 1 yr. old male Australian Cattledog/Blue Heeler.

He's a good looking dog, did he come from a rescue?

Herding breeds are super high energy, and smart too.
I have a 2 yr old Border Collie mix right now, awesome dog.

Yes, I rescued him from Safe Haven animal shelter in Scottsboro Alabama. I am in Jacksonville Florida. He will be here next friday. Herding dogs are great animals. The are very easy to train and are eager to learn new tasks. This is my 3rd Aussie cattledog. My last one just died last week at 14 years old. He was a great pet. Border collies are a lot of fun and you are right they are very high energy.

great looking 4 legged person!! I like all the gray in him. when we picked out or last one I tried to get as much gray as possible. but she has darkened up. congrats on a great dog, I mean person.

Thanks guys, my last Aussie was a red one. He died last week, he was 14 years and 2 weeks old. Average is 11-15 years for Australian Cattledogs. He was a great pet.
