Molly ride is on again this year! We had a great time last year, hope to see everyone there again! Here is the info from the organizer:

Hello friends of Molly,

The 3rd annual "Ride on Molly" ride is taking shape and I am pleased to report that a hotel has been selected and a room block secured. The route has been drafted and a pre-ride will be conducted very shortly. The only thing left is for you to make your reservations and/or consider a donation to the Education Fund in place for Molly's daughter, Brooke.

No fancy website this year, so you're on your own to complete your reservation and join us for the festivities.

The actual ride date is Saturday, April 27 beginning with a riders/drivers meeting at 9:00AM. Please plan on meeting in the lobby of the hotel with full stomachs, empty bladders and a full tank of gas. We will depart promptly at 9:30AM and arrive back at the hotel around 3:30PM. A mid-route rest break is planned and a "no-host" lunch stop is included. The route will show off the beauty of the Central Coast, be at a casual, leisurely pace and be a very comfortable distance ride (sorry to all you "iron butt" riders).

A group of us will be departing on Friday, April 26 from Orange County/LA County area for a scenic, casual ride to Santa Maria. If you are interested in joining this group, just reply to this email and I will make sure to include you on future communications regarding meet times and places.

Mike Sullivan, LACarGuy.com, has graciously offered to host the post-ride reception and additional details will be provided on the day of the ride. Mike has been a huge supporter of our 2 previous "Ride on Molly" rides and his generosity is greatly appreciated. Following the reception, you will be on your own for dinner. There is ample space in the hotel restaurant or bar, so if you prefer, you do not need to leave the premises (and for some of you, that's a good idea following the reception).

Now, two last points; How to contribute and how to reserve your room:

Contributions to the Education Fund established for Brooke can be made either by cash or check. We have purposefully not established a minimum amount and will leave it up to you, your heart and your pocketbook to determine your level of involvement. Please know that all, 100%, of the funds collected are transferred to the Education Fund. Checks should be made payable to "Molly Memorial Education Fund", and checks and cash can be presented at the event or mailed to:
(EDIT) Contact GNX6 on turbobuick for contact info, did not want to post his personal info on a public board. I will send the original e-mail to you with the full message and his info.

Hotel information is as follows:

Radisson Hotel
3455 Airpark Dr.
Santa Maria, Ca. 93455
(805) 928-8000

When calling for reservations, please indicate that you are booking under the room block for "Ride on Molly". You will then be eligible for the negotiated room rate of $95/night + taxes. Room choices are 1 King Bed or 2 Queen Beds, subject to availability. The room block will continue until all rooms are reserved, but no later than April 12, 2013. After that date (or when the block is exceeded) the hotel will honor the rate based on room availability. So please don't wait, book today to secure a room.

One final point is that if you are able to join in the festivities, please RSVP via "reply" email so we can determine a total headcount.

If you have any additional questions or suggestions please do not hesitate to contact me directly via return email.

Regards,

Alan
