Methanol and pump facts

:D:yuck: Great Info, thanks. Can you comment on current gas w/ 10% ethanol at the pumps?
Of 87,89 or 93 octane pump gas which would have the lowest % of ethanol? Pumps labeled "May contain up to 10%". Heard rumor that premium has more ethanol , being used to raise the octane level. I would prefer just gas . Trying to reduce erosion of filters, fuel pump, aluminum, etc. Difficult to determine settings when different fuel is sold at the pump . Thankz

Thats what makes tuning more challenging. Simple answer is try and get gas from the same service station.. of name brand preferably.. Like Shell 93.. and hope they don't change formulation. Use to be when Amoco sold 93 it was segregated.. as it was called "white gas" remember the bubble on the handle.. Now its BP.. now BP stations look like the worst..
If you run a little more alcohol than needed, and tune it a little fatter than needed.. you should be ok.
