LS-A/GN!

I also want to say that Nick's Vintage Air system for our Gbody's are very detailed and professional. I have been through this thing over and over fixing and going over details. The system he has put together is nice.

Well Todd, at least they had lots of good info on your project!

Hopefully we will be seeing it on other venues as well.

I think they pulled the info from LS1tech.com. A lot of the parts, year, etc incorrect. Also they stated Alan Grove Vintage Air system. I already sent a correction email. I was clear that the Vintage Air system was Nick Micale!
Someone asked what compressor bracket was used. That was Alan Grove.

Nick, I was talking to you at Kirban's show about doing a 500 chp V6, but the LSA looks like a better swap. I plan on using crate LSA and a 4l80e trans. Hopefully also using GMPP's LSA controller and trans controller. Does the LSA clear to stock hvac box and whose install kit did you use? Thanks.
Mark

From looking at the pics I don't belive it will. As for the install kit he fab it himself. No kit

I have 2 comments for you. :)

I would NOT attempt to do this project with the stock AC unit, as it would never work with 2 turbos added.

Second, a 600 CHP turbo Buick would be MUCH cheaper than a LSA and a 4L80-E!

The Vintage Air kit is one we developed a couple years ago for G-Body vehicles.

I'm not planning on turbos at all, just the lsa. I need to rebuild the trans and get a converter anyways, so another trans is still in the budget. If the engine clears the hvac box, then i can go with a different compressor and hoses. Found these guys, but haven't heard back yet if the lsa fits with stock hvac box http://www.brphotrods.com/products/82-88 G body products/index.html

No it will not clear a stock air box.

Engine swap depot did a write up on it:

I'm currently adding Twist Machine paddle shifter and changing up the exhaust a little. Changing to Magna Flow XL from Dynomax VT (I blew out the valves in the VT's due to air volume...)
Also, electic bypass.
