Lower Door Panel w/lighting option?

I looked and couldn’t find any information so forgive me if this is easily found somewhere but I just acquired some door panels from a (I think 87’) Regal Limited. Concert sound, different (Tiffany, Tampico?) material and lights that appear as though they could be factory. Not a typical hack add on that is easy to spot anyway.

So, is the light an option on the Limiteds? I’ve come across this same carpet on a blue one with CS2 recently, just never saw lights on lower door panels on a g-body.

I have to say that i have NEVER seen that on a door panel before. I think someone put that in there after the fact.

That fixture came on some Regals. Certainly not on all, but seemed to be haphazardly. I've seen them on some Grand Prixs and came virtually on all 80s front drive Rivieras. I have them on my GN, but got them from other G bodys. I took out the red lens and put both white, and added LED bulbs . Oh, and yes, that is Limited carpeting.
