Lets Talk Trans Coolers

Here's the transmission cooler set up I have installed in my car. I was lucky enough to be able to snag one of these kits years ago when Byron had these available.
This transmission cooler set up came with a custom CNC mounting bracket (powder coated) & utilizes 5/16" inverted flare connections on hoses for a real professional / clean & tidy looking installation.
I installed it in conjunction with a new Aluminum Alradco Radiator and a bottle of Lubeguard Platinum and all I can say is WoW! My engine coolant and transmission fluid temperatures are a thing of the past!

I've always used the big
howdy guys

I would like to know what you small non lock converter guys are running for trans coolers.....

I seem to be having a problem with fluid being blown out of the overflow tube on the top of the trans..

My current cooler is a tube and fin type thats 7X14 3/4 inch thick.. Its located if front of the radiator/a/c stack up. The RJC intercooler is in front of it. i have dual fans

I dynoed the car to see if i could find out where the fluid is coming from and its from the overflow. I have this same problem on the street and the track too.

The pan temp was 140 degrees the center of the case was 185 . The convertor was 241 degrees.

The convertor is a PTC 17 blade 9.5 inch..

Thansk for the help
I've always used the largest B&M stacked plate tranny cooler that summit sells with great results... even after sitting on the tranny brake for an extended time the fluid temps were always back down to a manageable temp by the time I got back to my pit spot.

Did you ever take the tranny fluid out of the radiator?
Did you wind up getting a new water pump?
