Amazing, that team's accomplishments go virtually unnoticed outside of Nascar circles. Not a die-hard JJ fan but you cannot deny the 48 team is one of the best, if not the best, in Nascar history. Truly amazing!

Chad Knaus is the Mastermind, Jimmy doesn't drive bad either! He knows the limits with his top notch machinery Chad gives him. Too bad Jeff Gordon picked him as a teammate He seems to be going backwards, whatever happened to his drive for five? And now they shuffle with the pit crews AGAIN.

The best part about the 48 winning was that it wasn't a Gibbs Toyota.

Jeff is not only a team mate but he owns a big part of that team as well. If Jimmy wins, he wins.
Gordon now has a family (child ) and a whole new set of priorities. He may not be pushing as hard as he did as a single guy. More on the line now than winning a race.

I agree, did not know that he had ownership in the Lowe's team. Almost everyone pushes hard in nascar, if not then you're out. I'm sure Jeff is doing the best he can, he is not one to lay down. Like every sport, sometimes politics can take a role. Just thought he would be doing a little better by now. We'll see next year!
