Intercooler pipe hot

So the intercooler pipe that comes from the intercooler into the throttlebody is generally pretty hot not to burn your hand or anything and it seems not quite right Or is it because of my set up that the pipe will still get hot

Which intercooler, fm ? Its probably just picking up under hood temps, I bet the lower pipe is much hotter , put a laser pyrometer on it to see the difference.

Front mount I think a dequick or similar. On dyno it's all good. Wasn't sure if under hood temps hear it up that much

If its a Dequick v1,v2 it has thin aircraft grade aluminum pipes, its going to feel hot to the touch but in no way hurt performance their some of the best pieces ever made....
