Intake Pipe

Is the intake shown in this pic a good one? I think it's a Kenne Bell one. Or is it better to go with a solid one? Thanks - Jay

I have a feeling this is going to open Pandora's box. You may search it under MAF pipe. There's a school of thought that says a resonating MAF pipe will cause damage to a MAF sensor. The only pipes they are referring to that supposedly resonate would be the aluminum pipes. I haven't had any problems and many others have not as well. Mine came from Kirbans. I know buickgn sells some as well. Smoother the intake flow the better IMO...3" piping minimum or match your MAF if you got to a LS1 or whatever.

I have the same one. mine came from kirban's.its a pete tomka.i think its a decent intake. it has some pros and cons. just like everything else.
