ignition control module

i've been having a lot of code 42 problems over the past few months, sputtering and popping. my computer took a ****, replaced it and still has the problem. i think i've isolated it to the ignition control module... does anyone have a known good one that i can test with or buy?

Dont know if you already got one but I have stock unit that works on the shelf. You can try it if you want.
