Hello everyone.

I did a thing...

I got another Turbo Buick.

This time, a very nice "87 GN, who I have decided to call, "LEGEND".
The mods are your typical must have items, fuel system upgrades, RJC front mount, 3" THDP into dual 2.5" Pypes exhaust, Razor's alky kit and a baby TE-44. For those that know me, know that it's only a matter of time before my case of GoFastItis flairs up, but to be honest, this one will be strictly a fun car. I am not chasing a number, or trying to race in any class. This one is a fun car. If it just so happens to be quick when I get done, so be it.

I made the decision to get another one, when I recently paid off my 2011 Coyote. As luck would have it, my best friend Dave Fiscus had a friend with a really nice GN, that he was thinking of selling. So after about a month of deliberating, I decided, what the heck. I've never owned a GN, and this one is pretty nice. Not to mention Dave has already turned wrenches on it with the owner. So a few weeks ago, I drove up to Cincy and we made the deal. The car really challenged me coming home, but I knew it was just his way of feeling out his new owner. So to make a long story short, I am overly exstatic to be back in a Turbo Buick again. And this one is going to be a lot of fun. When it came time to pick a tag, I had to go with Dave's idea, I mean heck, without his help, I would have never known about this one being available. Tag will be in the pics I post up later tonight.
Good things come to those who wait.
Thanks for reading and it's good to be back.

Patrick

Some teaser pics.
I've already put hood emblems back on it and took the tinted turn signal covers off. Replacing the side marker lights is coming soon.

Nice looking car.
I might be interested in the blackout corner lights if your looking to dump them.

nice car .but your scanmaster needs a real home like this.

Yep, I have a mount coming from Kirban to mount it to the column.

Thanks guys, it is great to be back in the saddle again.
Here are a few more recent pics, from this past weekend.
Legend was looking sharp and the amount of stares and people offering to buy him was crazy. :snaphappy::woot:(y):D Almost as if the public has never seen a 30 year old Turbo Buick before. Hehehe...
I have decided to go with a Buick themed front license plate, clear headlight covers and replace the side markers with OEM replacements. My buddy Don hooked me up with a turbo heatshield and bracket. Bracket has been installed and is supporting the turbo like it was meant to. I still have to sand blast the cover, notch it for the THDP, then paint it to match the valve covers, intake and upper plenum. Still have to replace the non-functioning PCV with a check valve and proper hoses and I might paint the MAF pipe to match. Eventually the plug wires will be swapped out to either Grey or Black ones along with some goodies from RJC.

But the first "real" money spent will be on tires. It's hard to make claims with a license plate frame and not be able to hook from a dig on the street. Ain't having none of that.
Hoosier bias ply QTP's to the rescue baby! Those and matching Hoosier bias ply fronts. 27" of course. Then, I might... might work on the power. Maybe...
Pics will be updated as progress is made.
Thanks again everyone.
