oops. broke the tab. the cold must be making everything brittle because it just popped off with no effort. Where can I order a new plug. Might as well re do the male and female end.

Either will work if done correctly. And I am pretty sure I redid all the fuseable links and grounds with Caspers splices when the engine was out.

The connector can be replaced in about 20 seconds if you have one. Factory oxygen sensor is the same. Just need the removal tool

Yes, I plan on leaving the pin alone just replacing the housing. I wasn't aware the housing needed a tool to remove it? Unless you are referring to the pin removal tool. I have one of those. Similar to the molex connectors that I needed to repair on my Maft-Pro.

Its a Delphi Weatherpack connector.

Mouser also lists the associated terminals and seals if you need them.

In the long term, if you want a perfect crimp you'll want to invest in the proper crimping tool (they are pricey). You can manage with some pliers and patience, but the proper crimping tool gives you a perfect result every time. I'll warn that you need to have a very symmetric crimp or the terminal won't fit in the connector... so the pliers approach can be fraught with peril.
