How Do I?

I believe my National has no chip, Where would i look to find out if my car has a aftermarket or stock chip installed?
Second I'm going to purchase a scanmaster which one would i be looking to purchase, What is the recommended unit?
Lastly depending on my chip status, (stock or aftermarket) what settings would i need to dial the scanmaster in? Or do i have to not dial in settings?

the chip is in the computer which is in the front right side kick panel just under the glove box. the Computer has a service panel with 2 screws pull the that panel and check the chip for any markings.

Scanmaster 2.1 i think is the "New" one, you just plug it in and go
