Help identifing metal pieces in oil pan

Changing the rear seal and found metal pieces in pan. Any ideas on where they came from?

Hard to tell on my phone but it looks like gear pieces. Cam gear or cam sensor ?

50,000 miles, all stock except 80lb injectors and running e85, pieces are about the thickness of a finger nail and can bend with my fingers.

Oh, oil was clear no metal shavings, just these pieces in the pan.

Cut the filter open, and take a look.
Being soft, I'm wondering is that's a alum seal tab off of an oil bottle? Is it magnetic?

Looks like bearing material.

To thick for oil seal foil.

Do bearings come apart in layers?

Yes they can.. I would say bearings.

Cut the filter and clean, no shavings at all. How would a rod or main bearing piece come out that size. Is it physically possible? Also they are not magnetic.

Could also be from the cam bearings.
