HELP- HEAD GASKET- LOCK WIRE OPTIONS

OK, my question to you guys is;
If I have a set of Iron heads with the Lock Wire groove, is there any other Head gasket options out there other than the Fel-Pro 1007?

They were grooved for the 1007's? Possibly mill the heads back flat and use thicker head gasket?

heres how i fix em
1007s are .040".. groove is about .010 ...mill head should take .011 to remove receiver groove.. go with cometic .051

Or, make use of the added compression, and be done w/ it.

I thought the first response would be to mill the head, that's something I do not want to do but did not mention it so I could weigh in all of my options. But it's nice to know that I could use the .051 Cometic's if I was to go that route. I was hoping someone experimented with some other type of Cometic or equal too gasket with out milling/decking the heads. I have an aggressive setup on a stock block and don't want to add more compression to an already volatile lower end, i'll do that with boost instead . I've run 25+ psi boost and never had any problems with the 1007's but wanted to know if anyone out there had any luck trying something else.
