Just thought I would post a picture of the new fuel pump I’m putting in . I did a search and found nothing. So I picked up this pump from eBay for $140 it flows 525 liters per hour and should be good to support 800 fly wheel horsepower. Here is acouple pictures .

does it clear the sump ?
Don’t know I’m installing it right meow . I have a dual 450 setup and one of them went out on me so I’m replacing it with this one . I will get some pictures shortly

Nice. Was looking into the hellcat pump setup FTS sells from racetronix.

Okay well if you are just installing the single Hellcat pump you should be good to go. My setup is alil different as I’m running dual 450s well now it’s a 525 as my primary pump and a 450 to back it up .

It’s the same size as a 450 so you should have no fitment issues

Yea I wasn't sure as I've not personally installed a Walbro 450 .. and probably never will as to save myself the trouble of just having to replace it again :) ... this is exactly why I steer clear of the current WALBLO junk.

But after seeing the fitment of the Hellcat is a non-issue ... I'd like to see how this holds up under E85 .
What peaks my interest about the Hellcat pump is that it's made in the USA .. which is always my first choice.
Now that I've figured out a way to not overwhelm the stock return line running 1 single 525l pump shouldn't be an issue..

Few more questions ... how loud is the pump ?
What is the MAX current draw ?
do they provide a flow vs pressure data sheet ?
What is the warranty on it ?
Is there a disclaimer on E85 use ?

Thanks Chris !

The pump isn’t loud imo . It is safe to run E85 with it . How do you plan on running a 450 or bigger with a stock return line ? I believe with a stock line the pressure will not drop below 45ish psi . The 450 pump I replaced was actually good btw it was my relay that needed to Be replaced . So walbro has been good to me . I have never had a walbro crap out on me :)

Chris,

You need to wear gloves.! Your hands are beat up.

Neal
Lol those my friend are called working MAN hands lol . Yea your right they are getting beat up but I really don’t like wearing gloves because I don’t get the right feeling wearing them.

Does anyone have a rely like this ? This is the one that failed causing my pump to stop working. It’s a 4 pin .
