HEADLIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS FLICKER

Lights flicker when GN is idling and when driving. Any ideas as to where I should look to find cause of this and how to remedy?

Two leading contenders:

1. Alternator going bad/voltage regulator. Get the alternator checked at someplace like autozone.
2. Bad ground somewhere, Check the ground points near your battery on the passenger fender and the firewall.

I am leaning towards the alternator, more likely.

Check the pos cable, near the down pipe. If it's toasted, it could be doing an intermittent short to the pipe.
