FJB claims he told them to "take it out" on Wednesday.
"They", the Pentagon, decided to wait til it was offshore.
The real reason was to assure that the claim it was a recon balloon, could not be confirmed.
It could have easily been confirmed what type of info was being transmitted, way before it came into US airspace. No mention of that, that I've seen.

Seems that the info being transmitted from the balloon was monitored by ??
Saw 1 report it was shadowed by a U2.
It's also been stated that the transmission of that data was jammed.
How will the American public ever know the truth? THEY WON'T.
Now, a third "object" is downed.
VERY DIFFICULT for me to believe this is something new.
