Had a weird issue today. I go outside to put the cover on my car and I hear a whining sound coming from the rear of the car. Turns out the fuel pump is running and I’m not sure for how long. I was out there earlier and didn’t hear it. The key wasn’t it the car, nothing seemed out of the ordinary and I don’t believe this has ever happened before. Any ideas on why the fuel pump might have been running. Car has an external fuel pump and a hot wire kit. I started the car up a few times and now it seems like it’s work like normal.
