it says 12 v. switched ,

The Caspers we sell uses the EGR plug

Yes. I bought it from holly
I understand it gets grounded to the motor, then a wire ran to the egr for the sportsman box.
where does it get the power from? egr connection as well?

Yes, all 3 wires can go there

No. Those shouldn't be linked.

The fuel pump works properly when the EGR is plugged in?

All my transducers take 5 volts to power them . I would double check . I have mine wired through a 5volt transformer .
