fuel line routing

Hello All, I have a dumb question about how the fuel lines are routed.

As I understand it, the feed line from the tank connects to the passenger side of the fuel rail and the return line to the tank connects on the driver side at the regulator. Which line runs through the fuel filter, the feed line or the return line?

Thanks.

ok thanks, just so we are on the same page... The feed line comes from the tank, goes thru the fuel filter and runs along the driver side frame rail and then it crosses over by the motor and connects to the passenger side fuel rail?

Thanks

The hard lines do not go all the way to the fuel line. They stop on the frame in front of the engine. There’s transitional lines which incorporates a flexible piece. Here’s a pic 2360B5BE-2096-47A6-AED9-581D2389CD3A.jpeg

The feed line is the fatter one. If you see 2 or three lines the feed is fatter.
