About 6 months ago I purchased a 1987 Grand National fully intact outside/inside. Only problem was that the previous owner had the car put though dyno testing and apparently they ran the engine to lean and caused 3rd piston to over-heat and melt. Since then I've completely disassembled the entire car inside and out since my plan was to restore the car and have the motor built ground up. The car needs to have the passenger and left/right floor pans replaced (rust) I have ALL the parts to the car to put it back together as well as the trans and rear 3.42 posi. Thus far I've purchased the following parts I planned on installing during my restoration.
New OEM Gas tank
IC Scoop
Complete ATR 3' SS headers w/cross pipe (paid $800)
Allum drums
Complete Master cylinder
New replacement floor pans

Now comes the second half. . .
Instead of having to go through the headaches of trying to find and purchase replacement parts for my build I decided I would try to find a Grand National roller and low and behold I was lucky enough to find one locally about 3 months ago. I now have a 1985 Grand National roller t-top car with (no title) which came with full exterior and interior. However, the car is missing a motor and rear-end but still has the trans as well.

The ONLY reason I have decided to put my project up for sale is due to financial hardships. It's been a childhood dream to own a piece of American history but sometimes we have to forgo our dreams or postpone them for something called "priorities". I will tell you that I paid a couple hundred dollars less then what I am asking for just the 1987 Grand National alone.

Price: $5,900 for both or will sell seperate

1985 GN: $2,200
1987 GN: $3,700

I am not interested in any sort of trades.
Thanks,

Post a few more pics of the 85, does it have any rust under t-tops? Will it have the wheels in the pics you posted on it and rolling. So that it will be easy to haul.
Thanks

Hello 2bseen-

There is only surface rust (no sheet metal) replacement needed anywhere on the car, this includes the t-tops. The car does come with the wheels you see on the pics.

is the 1985 still for sale?
Hello Turboaaron- I do still have the 85 but after verifying it's actually an 87 T-Type (originally paint gun metal grey) but was painted black and interior was replaced with GN stuff. I need the car gone as its taking up space in my garage.
