Front sway bar mount holes stripped out

I slid a nut into the frame, duct taped it to a wrench and used cap screws to fasten them - works like a champ.

I did something similar about 10 years ago. Much more secure than those cheesy ass threads in the frame anyways.

I've seen some people drill holes in the side of the passenger frame. got the pic from Gbodyforum.

all finished and fixed up. Ended up using Rivnuts from Fastenal for .98 ea. The biggest issue was finding a 11/32" drill bit to drill the holes to the correct size in the frame. So I ordered on online for 5$ and $5 shipping, so I have 15$ in the fix and it was performed with relative ease. I made my own rivnut tool to be able to squeeze teh rivets into the frame, worked like a charm. I sandblasted some sway bar brackets from my stock, and got the new 36mm bushings, then used a little antisieze on the threads. All installed wonderfully. While I was under I installed the jounce bars, and the fender to rad support braces. Look forward to the driving differences with the new body bushings and the new GNX brace I installed a couple weeks ago. Should feel completely different.
