1987 Buick Grand National

Hard Top

Excellent condition overall

They don’t get much cleaner than this one

Over $50,000 invested in the car

Originally a Southern California car

Car has always been garaged and has never seen rain

Always adult driven and extremely well maintained

Car runs, drives and rides excellent

Lots of horsepower add-ons

Approximate horsepower at flywheel = 625-650 HP

I am the 4th owner

Clean Title with Carfax

The body/chassis of the car has about 124,000 miles on it

Note: The GNX style instrument panel (described in the interior section below) was installed when the car had 80,000 miles on it in 2002. When the GNX style instrument panel was installed, the odometer was reset to zero. The current odometer reading on the GNX style instrument panel is 45,500 miles. That means the total mileage on the body/chassis of the car is about 125,500 miles (80,000 + 45,500 = 125,500 miles). However, the new (fully rebuilt) engine has about 700 miles on it and the new (fully rebuilt) transmission (along with new 3200 NLU PTC converter) has about 30 miles on it.

Which company built the motor and transmission?

Tommy Phillips built the engine. He is a local builder here in Fort Worth, TX. Ken White ("Limited T" on this forum) referred me to him. Tommy has been building these engines and many other types of engines for over 30 years. He is 82 years old. He really knows his stuff. Ken White can vouch for him. If you don't know Ken White, he has the fastest stock block turbo Buick in the country.

Jason Henderson built the transmission. He is also a local builder here in Fort Worth, TX. Ken White referred me to him too. He has built many of these transmissions over the past 20 years. Ken White can vouch for him too.

Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

Thank you.
