murprhsters 11.20 at 119 was a stock turbo and stock 109 engine i threw together , no porting or tricks anywhere ,the goal was to see what could be done with a motor basically as it came in 86 , stock timing set , lifters cam pushrods rockers plenum throttle body , only mods were shimmed up 980 valvesprings , 42lb injectors of which he only used half the injector duty , felro 9441 gaskets w/and arp head bolts becuase reusing oe bolts isnt good (but i have done it )
shimmed the valvesprings up to 103 # because he had tried higher boost and saw very high back pressurre and some valve flutter but we settled at just above 20psi so he really didnt need the .060 shim, the bigger key was keep rpm down and on his car i had put 3.23s in the rear combined with the ptc 18 blade 9.5 he never saw over 4850rpm, the same converter and rear got his car to 9.20 on his other109with gn1s and a 71hpq
