Passenger door courtesy light won't come on. Bulb is good. Dark green and light green wires, which come from door speaker and go to the light, have no power when door is open. Plunger switch in door jamb works, and has a white wire coming out of it. When I open driver's door I hear static in passenger door speaker. If I energize the bulb with a hot wire, I get static in the door speaker. So must be a bad wire going to door speaker? And why is the door speaker even wired in the bulb circuit?

Rick,

Its possible to mistakenly plug the courtesy light wiring into the speaker wiring when the door panel is removed. The connectors are the same and the wiring will physically reach and plug in. Double check and make sure this isn't the problem.
