I have new AC Delco gas struts and they have a clip on the end. What kind of fasteners are required to install these.
Is it a ball, shoulder bolt or stud with clip?

You might have the wrong struts. Never seen ends like that used on these cars

I don't think those are the right ones. I have a set in my garage, let me get the part number off the package when I get home tonight.

ACDELCO 510309 {#12333251, 510-309} available at Rock Auto for $17.00

Hope this help

ONYX, your picture shows 4 shoulder bolts. This is what I need. I'm just missing a couple bolts.

I have the AC Delco 510309 like TurboTguy's link. Maybe I just need to remove the clip.

How many bolts do you need? I think I have a couple brand new ones in the garage.

Wait, the bolts I have are for the strut itself, like in your picture in post 1.

what is being shown is the left side and the other photo is the right side. Each side only has two bolts, one on the top and one bolt on the bottom.

I found a couple more proper shoulder bolts and removed the clip on the new gas strut. It works perfectly with 4 matching shoulder bolts and no clip. Thanks.
