drive or overdrive?

Whos leaves there car in drive in the 1/4 mile and lets the car ref just a bit more before it drops off into overdrive?Or is it better just to leave it in overdrive?

I'd say with your combo, get ya some 28's in the back and leave it in D. Shifting into OD messes w/ ET and MPH too much for me.

I leave mine in D, unlocked 9/11, through the lights @ 5800-6000 ish

Locking the convertor drops the RPM around 200-300.

It won't let me lock it WOT. When I do it shakes the car violently. The lock up works fine otherwise.

I run in D with 26" tall tires RPM are fine through the traps
