I just took off my stock elbow from my TE44C turbo to install my 3" THDP and noticed that there was no gasket. When i instally my THDP, should i put a gasket??? If so, what recommendations. I've read in some post that the hi temp copper silicone can be used for the turbo to the header, but not sure if it works with the turbo to the DP.. Thanks!

They did not use a gasket. If the surface is good and flat plus very clean it can seal. I use a gasket. Mark at TR custom has them.
Gbody has them ect.... use a vendor and they will hook u up.

Hey ED

I hear ya, great question. I've been running a THDP for the last 8 years with no gasket and not even any high temp sealant. As long as the mating surfaces are true on the hot turbo side, dp surface and there is no other torque loads on dp from it should seal perfectly. Both my dp and hot side of my turbos are coated and trust me...id notice evidence of a leak. I would suggest trying it dry and see how it goes from there.
Keep me updated.
