Ordered a new set of keys and door lock cylinders for the GN. Is it a difficult swap out?

Nope.

1.)Take door panels off(don’t think just the top will work)
2.) Slide door lock clip off, they can be a pain at times.
3.) Take lock cylinders out, requires a small bit of twisting.
4.) Make sure old gasket is off.
5.) Put new gasket on new cylinder, install onto lock rod. Make sure key works & cylinder is working smoothly.
6.) Install new clip/old clip(tab facing towards interior).
7.) Lube up linkages since youse in there.
8.) Replace door panels.

Takes maybe a half hour a door.

Note: Have new door clips as well if needed. Also unless you get a new key cut, your new door lock keys will not match the trunk & glovebox.

If you got the trunk as well……

1.) Lightly mark location of lock assembly.
2.) Remove lock assembly bolts & assembly.
3.) Unhook lock rod.
4.) Remove cylinder & gasket.
5.) Put new gasket on cylinder & install cylinder.
6.) Hook lock rod to new cylinder.
7.) Install lock assembly, bolts, & match up to marked locations.
8.) Test out cylinder for good operation.

Crazy question. Pulled the trunk out and that rod is bent…the one that secured the spring on the lock. Should it be bent. See picture
