Misfire and backfire only when hot

Exactly - no one else thought it would be a bad sensor either! Maybe I just finally got it set correctly, but everything was set several different times prior to the new one. The gears were fairly worn on old one - maybe enough to cause issue when hot?

Do you think it had anything to do with the weather conditions? I am wondering just how much it affects it - i am losing up to 2-3 lbs of boost when everything is hot...
I think it has a LOT to do with the weather. It was 90+ degrees and humid the day this happened.

so my TTA is doing the EXACT same thing, ive changed everything except the cam sensor...
Changed:
new coil pack
module
plugs
wires
ecm
since the issue

the ecm made it idle and run better but the backfire issue when hot did not go away....

tried new cam sensor top. harder to start now with the caspers top...will add new cam sensor next...or try resetting???
