The only way I want to see Danica Patrick involved in Nascar is posing on the hood of the 48 or 3 car with very little clothing :D . Good looking girl but thats where the appreciation ends. The first time one of the good old boys puts her into the wall, the ESPN guys will go crazy on sports center.

I don't follow sports very much, even auto racing, but I will say this. She is not only strikingly beautiful, she has been very well educated in racing, and she might get put to the wall a few times, but being female, she will get even with a vengence. I don't see her taking any guff from anybody.

um she isn't going to move to nascar. indy has much better racing than nascar. why would she want to downgrade?

perception...

I think at this point the popular opinion is that Nascar is where the big money is at, and thats the reason the ESPN guys said is why shes considering the move. I personally felt that the cars she drives now dont take as much driver input to make them fast---cup cars need to be adjusted like crazy for them to work whereas the indy cars handle like theyre on rails---just hit the gas.

I'm not much into nascar either, but I think you make a good point there Brer Rabbit. Just how exactly do you think the media and the general public (fans and especially non-fans)... will react the first time she, or any other pretty young woman slams into the wall and gets her neck broke and is carried off the track in a body bag? (sure hope that never happens of course) I've got a feeling the politicians and every other snake that can get involved will be on it like stink on poop, trying to pass regulations out the wazoo

you're telling me nascar is more dangerous than the IRL? come on. yea nascar gets much more publicity but indy has much better racing period. i'm not a huge nascar fan personally, just not exciting for me. as for the danger of women in racing, look at ashley force...it's not exactly safe ripping one of those monster down the quarter like she does, but nobody says anything. yea i know she's john forces daughter and all but it's still a woman in a dangerous racing environment which is much more dangerous than nascar.

thats the point I'm trying to make i guess.... Nascar just gets way more publicity and I would imagine is the most popular, not sure though, I probably shouldn't be talking nascar when I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. ;)

how can u watch nascar when there is WRC and F1??

just wondering. I personally stop watching when god took dale from us. Even when he was driving, i would still watch WRC or F1 b4 dale

For women with big nerve in fast cars, Shirley Muldowney set the pace. Others women will follow.

Yes NASCAR is more dangerous than F1. That is just my opinion.

F1 cars are engineered to survive a crash and they are going 220 mph.

NASCAR vehicles weigh 1000 lbs more going 180 mph.

They all have risks and you can get killed in one of them no matter how safe they may be.

Danica Patrick is a good driver so if she did move to NASCAR I think it would be great.

Angelle Sampey is one of the best pro stock bike drivers I have ever seen. She had made some move on the track no man has ever done.

Melanie Troxel has proven herself to be a good driver.

Erica Enders is a great hole shot artist. No pun intended.

In my mind if you can drive it, go for it.

and Danica Patrick is not the first women to race in nascar, correct? If my memory serves me right, there have been a few to race in the nascar circuit over the years. Probably none of them where as young and hot.

As far as being dangerous.... I think I'd prefer a car with a steel tube chassis, and a full cage (NASCAR) than a carbon fiber go-cart going 50mph faster. You can bounce a couple stock cars together and it's no big deal. Go try that with an open wheel car.

what he said.

hot driver

I would not mind seeing her in Nascar, looks good and would add a little spice to the races.
I rather see woman than the dam imports coming into NASCAR, soon .
.

Well, she's resigned with Rahal for a few more years so I guess we won't have to worry about it. As far as Toyota in NASCAR, it's just a body. Toyota doesn't make a pushrod production engine so as I understand it, they will be using Chevy power....

no she didn't. she signed with andretti green. much better team and i can guarantee she'll win her first race with them. she would have placed 7th in the 400 last sunday but her damn techs screwed her and she ran out of gas last lap.

Yeah thats what I thought.

Im sure she wont be on Daves show anymore.

haha, there's always leno! she was on jimmie kimmel a few weeks bike but what a disappointment that show is. i think she's also guest hosting the view within the next month or so. not a fan of that show by any means but maybe tune it to see what she's wearin ;)
