Creative idea's for wife's 30th B-Day!

Hey gang,

Just looking for some creative idea's to celebrate the wife's 30th Birthday on the 23rd...

Thought about the typical surprise party or maybe flying to Vegas or something which is at the top of the list now...

Anyone have some cool idea's or been to a really cool bash for someone else?

For my wife's 30th birthday, we got a babysitter. We don't have any kids, but where else can you get a 16 year old for $5.00 and hour?

No really, go out of your way and wine her and dine her. Set up reservations at a very nice restruant, take a nice walk afterwards and talk about old times under the stars with wine in hand....

Quality time is alway the best present....

Do something different like a baloon ride or rent a boat or something like that or how about booking a movie theatre for you two? Of course Las Veags is always a good idea, too.

I often wonder these same things. The wife is going through some difficult times now and I am being supportive of her idea of going to a spa. She got this idea from a friend and I'm sure she will enjoy it. I am treating her to this as a mother's day gift. Maybe you can set up reservations at one. You can sit in the hot tub and stuff and when it's time for the facials and all that girl type stuff, you can go have some beers!

That's like buying her a new tool set for Christmas and explaining how it's for when she works on the car. (read: NEVER)

THE recipe:

1. Take her to an elegant dinner by 7:00PM. Don't let her eat TOO much, as you'll be going out later.
2. Invite her female friends to join the two of you around 9:00PM at a bar [as a surprise].
3. Buy drinks. Lots of them. Be sure to include a toast in her favor.
4. Have a limo meet the group at the bar at 10:00PM.
4. Inform her that "I really wanted this to be special, but fun for YOU, more than me."
5. Give her a small wrapped box, containing $100 in singles. This is to be opened when they arrive at their destination.
6. Send her [and her friends] to the Male Revue nearest you.
7. Go home, and rest.
8. By 1AM, take a Viagra, and be ready for her to come home.

I've done this, and believe me...it'll be the best ~$500 you'll ever spend, and she'll never forget how you wanted HER to have the best of times...
