What about the radio?
OEM or modern day?
Amp for stereo system?
Radar detector?
Underhood bulb still operational?
Sticking brake pedal switch?
Still have the factory fan delay relay hooked up? Good Lord I hope not...

Trace your factory alternator to + battery power red wire for any signs of rubbing chaffing. Typically happens with the factory black plastic mounting sheath.
Just some thoughts.

Try a different Alternator, I don't know why but for some reason I don't have good luck with electrical parts from Auto Zone on my Buick, or Pontiac...Try Napa Auto Parts
