Any interest in a set of Comp Cams 853 roller kifters? Lifters were in an engine I purchased. I was told the engine only had 5k on it. I decided to change to Morels. All rollers move and are smooth.

why the change?ive got a motor going together,and i have a set of the same lifters.noisy?

Its a preference only. From all my studies they are equal. One person says the Comp lifters are loud, another says the Morels are louder than the Comps. My understanding is with the correct preload both sets are quiet.

I am pretty sure between 1/2 and 3/4 turn past zero lash is optimal.
