Code 42

Can anyone scan an EST circuit wiring diagram and the shop manual steps for an obd code 42. Thanks in advance.

I got the GM troubleshooting tree and code 42 guide off GNTType, good info to get me going on this.

Just need an 84/85 diagram, the only one I can find around is 86/87 (attached). I want to shake down the wiring before I start buying parts.

(Car has CCCI adapter plate, plug adapter and newer style coil packs.)

I was working in that area when I replaced the water pump but have put about 100 miles on it before the code, so it may be unrelated but I'm not ruling it out.

Just a quick update, I'm glad I didn't start throwing parts at this issue. After going through the connectors, I found both 3 prong ones under the ignition module/coil mount had a fair amount of corrosion, I retracted the pins from the connector, cleaned them up, used a little dielectric, reassemble and bam, running like a champ and no code or light.
