Clone for sale as GN on Ebay

Found this on ebay, someone selling a T as a GN. Asking good money too. Mismatched fender trim, badges, etc. Vehicle report shows it a T-Type.

You mean the VIN / CarFax etc shows a T-Type?
Many of them do.
Not many titles , in many states, list the WE2 as a GN.
It was only paint and interior, not a specific body style.
It looks like a GN to me, but I'd have to see the SPID tag to be sure.

ah ha... well i feel foolish For an 86 aren't the badges wrong on this car?

The fender is missing the Intercooled badges, and it is an 87 grill, but that stuff is pretty typical replacements over the years.
It doesn't look bad - except he is slightly high for a 86 T Top. (Given the market)
But hope he gets it.

Has the interior. In 86 the GN was an option on the T-Type. I found it odd that there is a 3.8 SFI Turbo chrome on the deck lid. Though it is very stock looking under the hood. I couldn't see the dash where the badge might say Grand National.
Looks pieced together with the wrong grille as mentioned and the chrome wheel lip .
I hope the buyer looks it over close.

Ha! My current GN was purchased on eBay in '06 and it too has that same extra badge. I knew it wasn't correct but I like it and left it.
