What have you been using on the non painted surface of the wheels to bring out the shine?

lots of great products on auto geek , I do know one thing , that is do not use aluminum wheel cleaner on chrome it messes up the chrome , polishing will always brighten things up, if wheels are aluminum crinkled up aluminum foil does great job on neglected oxidized aluminum wheels cheap and easy

sorry folded aluminum foil is for chrome, for aluminum 0000 steel wool , but polishing is the best , be very careful around the painted stuff , tape it up GL

I really tried to scrub out a lot of the brown brake dust on my wheels and tried several wheel cleaners, including Eagle one and Griots. The black painted section was then cleaner but still on the dull side with a whitish look in areas. I found using the Turtle wax black spray detailer as the least step really made the wheels look much better and eliminated the faded look they had.
