Just bought a one owner 1987 T-type and owner said it's got a chip in it but he didn't know the details of it. He included the "original OEM" chip however neither have any identification attributes of the chip on it. Can someone help ID them or suggest where I can go to get more info on them?

The first two are of the chip installed in the car. The second two are of the "original OEM" chip.

TIA

The first chip is going to be hard for anyone to tell you about as it seems to have no marking. IMO it is probably a copy some made of another chip.
The second is a factory piece and if memory serves me it was the recall chip.

I would suggest getting a new Turbotweak chip.
The new chips are designed for today's lower quality fuels with features that greatly improve drivability and performance with the ability to dial in your tune.
I have many old chips that I would not give anyone to put in their cars.

The standard is the 5.7 chip ( http://www.turbotweakstore.com/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=1000 ) and others are available depending on your ability and willingness to tune.

Thank you for the input - I will be getting a new TT chip, however would like to preserve the original chip for prosperity's sake (and keep it with car documentation and records dating back to day 1).

The chip in the first photo doesn't appear to have anything on its label. It could be anything.

The 2nd chip (BBKJ 9464) is the emissions recall chip issued in 1991/1992. The original '87 chip was marked ACXA 094.
