Caliper Painting.

I know this has been talked about to death......but.

Step 1.Remove tire and sand down rusty caliper.
Step 2. Use brake keen to remove rust flakes.
step 3. tape off the area so not to get over spray on stuff
step 4. Lay down some caliper paint. 10 minutes flash time. Three light coats.
step 5 . While the paint is drying and you have access to the chassis and suspension lay down some black paint to the area. Make it look nice.
step 6 . Have a beer.
step 7. reassemble and check out the fruits of your labor.

GX1 #001 [The One and Only]
Thank you for the write up. It’s amazing how a little time and a coat of paint can really transform a car.
It looks great! I like the black, almost as much as I like dark silver.

I removed the caliper, plugged the line then painted with the red high temp paint
re installed and bled the lines
I was replacing the rotors anyway
