Hey guys,

Well its been decided we gotta build a motor instead of just re cranking the one we had. were getting upgrade stuff( eagle 4340 crank, arp bolts everywhere, je pistons , new rods ect) and since were doing all the machine work we decided were going to blue print the oiling system as well as get any hints and tips to make this oiling system the best possible without going too crazy. this motor is prob gunna make 300 at the wheels, so its nothing too crazy. Any help from anyone would be appreciated as well as pointing me to articles or whatnot. This car is planned to be a daily driver so i just wanted to get it as reliable as possible for the longest time possible. I appreciate the input, it has helped me a lot with misc problems i've had.:)

Do a search for timing cover mods.

Basically clean up the oil passages in the front cover, make sure the gasket does not block the path to the block, and set up the pump properly.
