Buick Alky bottle Sensor removal

My alky bottle developed a leak. How do you remove the low level sensor??

pretty sure it just pops out, the grommet probably needs replacing. Mine leaked and I replaced the grommet and that fixed the leak.

Twist and lightly pull. Do this with the jug upside down. This flatten outs the sensor and comes straight out.

I have a 8AN and a 6AN fitting. My braided hose has a fitting that would be in between both. Never easy with this car. Whats the deal.
