I just finished my rebuild on my car and thought I'd share. My car handled like cardboard box before and now it's like a brand new car. Plan was to restore the old parts with all new bushings, and box the rear control arms. I also did a complete steering rebuild using moog parts. Took me some time to compile the list of parts, and ended up going with the eibach pro spring kit and used umi rear control arms because I was tired of it sitting and Jacks. I topped it off with tall upper and lower ball joints and the car sits perfect for me.

Parts list:

Steering:
Center link moog DS909
2x sleeve moog ES2032S
2x outer tie rod moog ES2033RLT
2x inner tie rod moog ES2034RLT
Idler arm moog K6187T

Front suspension
Upper bushing kit moog K6411
Lower bushing kit moog K6421
Sway bar bushing moog K6455
Lower control arm bumper K6606
Sway bar end link moog K700538
2x tall upper ball joint POF-101-10020
2x tall lower ball joint POF-101-10048
Summit drag shock

Rear suspension
4x moog bushings K6178
Summit drag shock

This is what I started with, worn out bushings and alot of grime.

I disassembled the control arms by putting the jack and a 2x4 underneath the rear of the control arms and took the bolts out. Came apart easily and is way better than trying to screw with one of those compressors. I leave the spindle connected but loose but didn't get a picture.

Once apart, I took a torch to the bushings and burned out all the rubber then used a air hammer to knock out the metal.

Hit them with a wire brush then painted them black

Then I went and bought a $100 harbor freight press to press all the bushings and ball joints back in.

Put it all back together and it looks good

The rear suspension I boxed and painted but was having trouble pressing in the new bushings and in my frustration I just order umi's

Love the dual purpose swing set painting rack!:) Great job, the stance looks nice. I think I'm going to have to put that on my list of todos.
